Nugget has been shrieking (literally) with joy about the arrival of his new cousin in Israel. Mazel tov!

New buddy Sophie
Uncle Jonathan brought Sophie the giraffe all the way from France for Nugget. Nugget likes Sophie's feet.
Sitting up
Nugget is in a weird mood today. Lying on his back is very upsetting for some unknown reason. So it's a sitting day.
Update: We went to the doctor just in case and everything's okay. (I had suspected an ear infection but the doctor thought it was just a reaction to yesterday's shots.)

4 month check up
Nugget weighed in at 15.25 pounds and 26 inches. He is solidly average and very healthy. (He even dodged my cold this weekend.) Pictures while waiting for the doctor.

Morning routine
The typical morning:
Nugget wakes up ready to start crying because waking up is a bummer and he can't see Mommy. He cracks his eyes open, sees Mommy smiling at him and he breaks into a big grin. I unwrap him from his swaddle. Nugget's arms pop up and he starts contorting in morning stretches. He works out accumulated farts and the occasional (like this morning) poo. Once he has settled down a bit and is grinning at me like a fool, I feed him. Then Nugget gets changed and dressed for the first time of the day. While I get dressed, he plays by himself. Then it's story time which means an arm workout for me and cooing and smiling at pictures for Nugget.
